The Philips Respironics Premium Chinstrap helps prevent air from leaking out of the mouth by holding the chin from dropping open.
The Philips Respironics Premium Chin Strap Features:
Vertical Design that promotes a vertical angle of force on the chin (as opposed to horizontal) in order to reduce the potential of inducing sleep-related events
Chin cup is part of the soft strap to provide comfortable support without placing unnecessary tension around the chin
Adjustable Support Strap that attaches to a split section on one side of the chin strap and wraps around the back of the head for the ultimate in stability and adjustability.

Applied a Velcro gusset to both sides to keep the strap that goes to the back of the head of the ears
Purchased through Amazon.ca Wouldn't stay on my head. Poor design. Difficult to use. Not recommended.
mask works well - comfortable and no noise of air escaping through open mouth that you get with a nose pillow only
Very comfortable and durable. My first one lasted a year.
