The ClimateLineAir heated hose is designed to work with the AirSense 11 series of CPAP and Bi-Level machines. These devices are commonly used to treat and alleviate the symptoms of sleep apnea. Research data suggests that when using a heated CPAP hose, "rain-out" (a common term for condensation build-up in the tube and mask) is reduced significantly. The heated element within the tube keeps the temperature consistent from the water chamber to the mask, allowing for maximum humidification without excessive condensation.
